No matter their approach, one truth remains: they are now at the bottom of the schoolyard hierarchy, struggling to find their footing in a chaotic and unfamiliar landscape.

The Dog days of summer are over as a new era begins for everyone. The transition from junior high to high school treats everyone differently. The time to revel won’t be so easy but the conflicts and rites of passages plant seeds for future strengths.

Halloween weekend erupts into chaos as Perri and Vickey’s reckless pranks spiral into a fiery stunts around town for an event the niners call Hell Night. Ali dazzles seniors while Dan struggles to keep her safe, and The Roonie Maras shake a house party with their raw energy before bullies and booze catch up to them. From rooftops to bonfires, toilet-papered trees to tequila shots, every freshman faces the rush and risk of peer pressure, temptation, and rebellion, but a question lingers: will Hell Night be remembered as legend—or as a warning?
